Olamide continues to achieve milestones and scales heights unattainable to anyone in the industry. This year he dropped “Science Student” which campaigns against drug abuse. He also has the most-watched rap video of 2018.

There is also a longf list of collaborations with acts like Skepta, Phyno and Wizkid. He took it a step further when he signed underground act, Limerick to his YBNL imprint alongside singer, Lyta.

In March, he announced his TV Station, “Voice Of The Street” which has been touted as the first of it’s kind in Nigeria. Now Olamide is doing another big one.

This time, the “Eyan Mayweather” rapper, who recently dropped the video to his single “Kana”, teams up with popular actress, Eniola Badmus for an EP.

The EP titled “Ghetto Bred” is the soundtrack to Eniola’s film of the same title. The movie is set to premiere soon. Eniola Badmus became popular after her role on Funke Akindele’s “Omo Ghetto” and she’s popularly known as Busty.

She must have found Olamide as the most suitable artiste to work out the magic for her movie. Given that Olamide himself is a ghetto child.

“Ghetto Bred” has three tracks namely “Manual”, “No” and “Ghetto Bred”. The latter being the original soundtrack. It has been used in the Trailer.

While we’re not expecting any of the singles to be the next big hit in town, it’s really a groundbreaking collaboration for both Nollywood and the music industry. Joints like this means the creative space to showcase our materials is getting wider.

Meanwhile, one of Nigeria’s dopest Igbo rap heads, iLLBLiss has dropped a banger. And he features Olamide. The rapper who was a member of defunct pioneer hip hop group in Nigeria, thoroughbreds, has previously worked with Olamide, on a single called “WTF”. The new one is called “40ft Container” and it’s a banger!
