Ramadan is here. Happy Ramadan Kareem to all our Muslim readers. May the season bring us blessings!

But it seems like we won’t be getting many bangers for the next 28 days, because of the “Holy” month, which is separated by Prophet Mohammed (SAW) for consecration and fasting. Since so many people try to keep themselves as holy as possible, we may have artistes not going to the studio to record this month. And some Even postponing their releases till after the holy month.

That’s the case of an upcoming rapper, known as YungFrenzy JagaBarny, who took to his Facebook to announce that he’ll be dropping two new jams. One titled “Blow” featuring Dalox. And another called “Go On Soun” which is said to be produced by one of StarBoy’s producer, Vampire Beat. But the sad thing is, we won’t be getting any till the End of Ramadan.

I queried him. Guess what he replied? You don’t have to. He replied;

“The reason why I chose to drop it after Ramadan is because some Muslim fellows won’t download thinking the song contain strong vulgar or curse words”

God forgive me, but I had to laugh. As a christian kid, what do I know?.

But, that’s still a funny reason not to drop bangers. Even though, it’s a good reason. Maybe all Muslim rappers will take a break now? Let’s wait and see.
