Every rapper was inspired by another rapper. Olamide had Lord Of Ajasa and Dagrin. M.I won’t got inspired by Mode 9. And new cats like A-Q, Blaqbonez and Erriga won’t deny getting inspiration from the likes of M.I Abaga, Vector Tha Viper andTerry Tha Rapman.

The inspiration may come from anywhere. But what happens when the person who inspired you, is inspired by you?

Yesterday, Nigerian rapper, Ice Prince Zamani, gushed about SA Rapper, Cassper Nyovest. He tweeted about how HHP had introduced him (Ice Prince) to Cassper Nyovest, probably few years back. And that now he just wanna be like Cassper, or better.

The tweet reads;

“When i first got tight to HHP… he introduced me to Cassper Nyovest. Now I wanna be just like or more than CASSPER.”

Cassper replied;

“This is crazy cause when I first met you, I just wanted to take a picture with you and you was soo cool about it. Your blow up was so organic and “everybody loves ice prince” was my favorite album for a while! Bless up king. Glad I could inspire those who inspired me.”

Honestly, Cassper Nyovest is nothing short of an inspiration to hip hop fans. He inspires listeners with thoughtful lyrics, who knows who might want to be like the 27-year-old rapper.

Meanwhile, Ice Prince hasn’t been the Ice Prince that “everybody loves”. He left Choc City and M.I, switched up his vibe and abandoned rap. Nevertheless, he’s remains one of the most prominent emcees of this era. Cassper should really be glad.
