Fast rising artiste, Joules Da Kid, may just be that talented rapper next door that everyone’s sleeping on. But he sure did catch the fancy of Chocolate city CEO and rapper, M.I Abaga.
The 24 year old emcee played guest on Rhythm FM’s Rap Kulture. We hear Joules Da Kid speaking about a couple of things including his feature on M.I Abaga’s “what’s the level“.
They include how he copes in Nigeria’s industry and his struggles since he came in a year ago. He also talks about how he still practices Architecture, the course he studied, among other things.
Show host, Raezy, then asked how his collaboration with M.I happened.
“Honestly, you can imagine, it’s a dream working with M.I. I mean, for every rapper”
Joules Da Kid continues;
“He (M.I) hit me up, told me to come to his house. He played me a few records, he played me What’s The Level, and I was like yeah”.
Eventually, this meeting between the two rappers would created trap jam “What’s The Level”. A song that features Choc City singer, CKay.
Upcoming rappers get called by an OGs for collaborations but it does not happen everyday. It just has to be a miracle.
