His debut album “Tsholofelo” might have come six years after M.I’s ground breaker. But Cassper Nyovest is no small boy in the game. He’s got thart-topping albums, singles, high profile collaborations, sold out concerts and award nominations. And the “Tito Mboweni” rapper is the hottest in Africa.

On Tuesday evening, Cassper took to his Twitter to serve some real career advice to emerging artiste out there.

He wrote;

“If you changed to be loved then you love to be changed. Do you my nigg!! It’s your pen!”

And doesn’t this make sense? In an Africa where artists who started off initially as rappers, are now looking for greener pastures in other more-commercial genres, claiming they’re doing what the fans
want. Don’t do that, nigg. Cassper wants you to do you. Even if it means losing money, fame or fans. Do you!

In related news, Cassper Nyovest’s latest song with Afrobeats star, Davido recently hit 700K Views on Youtube. And also, Ycee is working in the studio alongside the SA rapper. New music. Skrrr.
