Teck-Zilla And Phlow Takes Partnership To A New Level On “Go Hard”

Teck-zilla and Phlow are at it again. This one hit my inbox recently and I had to rush down here to drop it for you all, you’re welcome. There’s yet hope for Nigerian hip hop.

The energetic video for “Go Hard” is something you need to cop. Go hard is the brand new single from ace producer Teck-Zilla and his frequent collaborator, the inimitable Phlow.

The jam is a celebration of Hip Hop culture. From the kick off, you can see the b-boys breaking their backs and spinning recklessly on the stage. It is the kind of bare chested King kong-ish kind of rap jam we’ve all missed.

These two Str8Buttah artists have been dropping some serious heat over the past several years. And their work together only seems to get stronger with each subsequent release. They’re capable of switching up their styles while retaining what makes their music so damn dope in the first place; unquestionable talent paired with distinctive style.

The adrenaline rush is all on display in the “Go Hard” video shot by themythcreate. Go Hard was edited by fellow Str8Buttah member Rcube (also responsible for Phlow’s Str8 Up video), who blends visuals that were shot on location in Lagos, during this year’s RedBull-sponsored “Battle Of The Year” for break dancers. As the b-boys kill it on stage, Phlow flaunts her skills on the mic over Teck’s boisterous production that features a crazy flip on the chorus.
