How did you get your stage name?

My stage name EmmySupreme was been given to me by my lovely girl friend, she said I’m always a genius while singing and I deserve to be called a supreme person.

What inspired you to venture into music

Back then in secondary school, my classmates would hit drums in class and ask me to follow up with a verse of my own and I would just start singing. From there I started pursuing a music career because I discovered I am well talented to compete and make it.

Emmysupreme, Tell us about your Childhood and family background

I was born with a silver spoon but I lost the spoon at the age of twelve. And since then, life has been stressful but not to the extent that we couldn’t survive. Thanks to my mum, she has been catering for I and my siblings.

We know its not easy, so how do you combine music and academics

I concentrate less on my studies but I gave music a big part of my time and life. However I think education with music is the best.

What has been your greatest challenge and success as a budding Nigerian artiste

My greatest challenge was when I have to drop shame aside and face a whole crowd. It wasn’t easy but with the encouragement of my friends and girlfriend I overcame it.

My greatest success in life is for me is to make history in Africa by changing the continent. To become famous and to be a way maker for others because I believe the world is looking up to me.

You have a unique style, which top artiste would you like to feature and why

I will like to feature Falz the Bad guy because I love all his tracks and I can mime all his songs mindlessly.

Who is your role model and why do you respect him/her

As for now I don’t have any upcoming project. My role model is my girlfriend because she helped me a lot, and from her i learnt the meaning of true love and encouragement.

Where do you see yourself 2 years from now?

Two years from now I see myself on top of the world. Its not by power but by faith and by the grace of God.
