20 Year Old Zido Is The New Rapper That YNBL Has To Watch Out For

Lets take a moment to talk about this charismatic younger by the title Zido. Born on the 29th of September in 1997, his name is Nasiru Amoto Idris by name, an Igala native from Kogi state. He is a rapper and hip hop artiste who focuses majorly on those genres of my music. Here is what He had to say to Hip Hop Head;

How did you come about your stage name?

The name Zido was given to me by my younger sister. The name was actually “sido”, which is a short form of “Nasido”. But each time she called me Zido, it made me happy. So I decoded to adopt it as my final my stage name.

What inspired you to venture into music

Whenever I come across any dope instrumental, it inspires me artistically. I write and keep pouring my creativity.

Zido Tell us about your Childhood and family

Well my childhood was fun because started rapping right from my my early years. Talking about my family back ground, I came from a very poor home, were are a family of four but we get by just well.

We know its not easy, so how do you combine music and academics

Talking about how I combine music and my academics. I believe there is time for everything, so I give each of them their time and attention.

What has been your greatest challenge and success as a budding Nigerian artiste

Seeing other artists on TV was my greatest challenge because I feel and know that I can do a better job when given the same opportunity.

You have a unique style, which top artiste would you like to feature and why

LAX is the artist I will like to feature and more so I like the way he carries himself. Cool and calm, he has nice voice too.

Do you have any upcoming projects we need to watch out for?

The only project I have for now is a song I am working on which will be titled “no fear”. When Its done, you will be the first to hear it.

Who is your role model and why

M.I Abaga is my role model and i respect him,because he is really talented. His skill and expertise is there for all to see, the way he drops his flows tell you all you need to know.

Where do you see yourself 2 years from now?

In two years I will be in the music industry with YNBL or any record label.
