How did you come about your stage name?
My stage name came from a very mysterious source; that’s the bible.
What inspired you to venture into music
I discovered my talent as a little child. Even then, I never knew what I was truly capable of. I explored as I grew older and here I am. Its been a discovery journey, frankly.
Tell us about your Childhood and family background
I come from a very humble family background, my parents are Mr Michael Ogidi and Mrs Cecilia Ogidi. I was born and brought up in the dreaded Ikorodu in Lagos state.
My childhood was not fun because I hit the streets at a tender age since dad couldn’t provide then family’s anymore due to stroke. A sense of responsibility came upon me so I had to buckle up. I will simply define my self as a street boy.
Jedaking how do you combine music and school
Yes its not easy to get good results in anything, seriously. So since its only one life I have got, I am going to take it up solely and achieve my music dreams. I am not into any school programs for now.
What has been your greatest challenge and success as a budding Nigerian artiste
My challenges as an upcoming artist are putting my self together as an artiste. I work hard to make a record and get them out there for people to listen. I feel the competition in the music industry of today. For successes in my career, I thinks its in everything, I mean I do my best with the help of God and everything is turning out successful.
You have a unique style, which top artiste would you like to feature and why
Thank you very much, i will like to feature Burna boy first of all because he flows really meaningful and deep and I like his style.
Do you have any upcoming projects we need to watch out for?
Yes I am working on a mix tape titled “diamond in the dirt” consisting of 8 songs. It drops in 4 months, You should be expecting that from your yours truly.
Who is your role model and why do you feel him
Akon is my role model, I respect him for his talent and his brand. By Gods grace I will be at the top of the music game in a short time, just like Akon.
