How did you come about your stage name?

I started bearing the name in my junior secondary school class. My friends began calling me Kisses because they said I loved kissing, it all started like a joke and before I knew it everyone started calling me that.

What motivated you to venture into music

Basically my friends and my cousin sisters were responsible for it. They were even the ones who helped me discover my talent. I was always writing songs, singing and rapping but I never knew I was talented enough to pursue a music career until they encouraged me.

Kisses Tell us about your family

I was born to an average Nigerian family and growing up was not easy because of the low poor standard of living. I’m the first child in a family blessed with four children. I have 2 younger sisters and a younger brother. From day one, I always wanted to be an entertainer.

We know its not easy, so what your greatest challenge

When school is in session, I do less of music and when school is on break I do music full time. But I always manage to do music everyday and try to attend shows that don’t clash with my studies. But Money is the biggest challenge I have so far.

You have a unique style, which top artiste would you like to feature

I would love to feature MI Because I love his style and I think I can easily connect with him artistically. I do have upcoming projects you all should watch out for.

Who is your role model and why do you respect him/her

My role model is Ice Prince Zamani, because we share a lot of similarities artistically. We can both sing, write and rap. And just like me, he started from nothing thus I see myself very close to the top in a very short time.

Wish him luck and drop a comment for Kisses below…
